As I traveled from place to place in the car today, I sang this song over and over and it flooded my soul! If you haven't heard it, please find it, listen to it and crank it up! I dare you not to sing! Double dare you! May it bless you like it does me!
"How Can I Keep From Singing Your Praise?"
There is an endless song
Echoes in my soul
I hear the music ring
And though the storms may come
I am holding on
To the rock I cling!
How can I keep from singing Your praise?
How can I ever say enough, How amazing is Your love!
How can I keep from shouting Your name?
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing!
I will lift my eyes,
In the darkest night
For I know my Savior lives
And I will walk with You
Knowing You’ll see me through
And sing the songs You give
I can sing in the troubled times
Sing when I win
I can sing when I lose my step
And fall down again.
I can sing ‘cause You pick me up
Sing ‘cause You're there
I can sing ‘cause You hear me, Lord
When I call to You in prayer
I can sing with my last breath
Sing for I know
That I'll sing with the angels
And the saints around the throne!

Truly, it was a full day! Work, hospital pre-op for a procedure in the morning, then back in the car to the doctor's office for "chemo training."
So, out-patient surgery in the morning, 1st round of chemo in the afternoon. Our heads are spinning! Our hearts are secure. Our hope stays strong. Our course is set. Our faith- all of it- is in our Lord!
You, my friends, are people of incredible faith! You're boldly in our corner! Your determination strong! Your friendship steadfast! We thank our God everytime we think of you!
Loving and praying for you! I know you know--but, our awesome Father is for you! Thanks for your amazing faith!

Sharon,
ReplyDeleteI can't help but think of all the lives that you are going to touch over these next few weeks. Doctors, nurses, techs, lab workers, cleaning staff, other patients. Your joyful spirit is so contagious - people are going to want to know more about you and then they will learn about God. I think you need to have a "people touched" counter on your page like Randi has her "diaper counter"! You are going to do AMAZING things for God as you go through this ordeal - of that I am sure!
As always - praying you through today.
Much love, Lynette

ReplyDeleteSharon ~ (Not sure what happened on name of blog for us so will try again)
ReplyDeleteHow awesome indeed to see how strongly you are holding to your faith in our precious Lord. Literally thousands will be holding you up in prayer daily as you walk this difficult road and I know you must feel those prayers. I pray for you in the middle of the night when I awaken and know God is ever close to you. Even through the treatments, I know you will continue to be the "hands and feet" of Christ. We Love You! Mike & Gayle
Praying for you Sharon!!!
ReplyDeleteMany Hugs!
I feel like putting on a pink uniform with a big "S" on it, grabbing some pom poms and just doing cheer after cheer for you as you fight this battle! I know...not a pretty sight of me at this stage but in my head I am really thin and can still do a great toe touch! :) ...and throw in some back flips too!
ReplyDeleteGO SHARON!!!
