Decades of Prayer!

Mike & I are in our 50's & count one of our greatest blessings in having loved ones from every decade of life loving & praying for us. Loved ones in your 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's are strong & deep in your faith. You have seen the Lord work & have experienced His mercy firsthand. You've been through the valleys of life & your roots are deep & faith doesn't waiver. For these prayers, we are forever thankful & know God hears the prayers of His followers who've walked with Him all these years.

Then, there are our loved ones in their 20's, 30's & 40's. You,re the ones coming right behind us who's lives are demanding & challenging with establishing yourselves in college, career, marriage, & family. Then, the schooling of children, relationships, youth groups, all the extra activities & go, go, go! The prayers of this group mean the world to us because your're the group realizing the faithfulness of God at every turn. You're the group leaning hard on the Lord to make it all come together & make sense of life. God hears this group for you have a deep sense of God's prescence and have abounding energy & commitment to seve Him.

Finally, there's the 10's & teens. I saved this group for last because this is the group is incredibly precious to us and we especially thank today. You're the young hearts just beginning to see God's faithfulness. You're the group who talks to Him with such purity of heart & asks of God expecting answers! You speak with such clarity & God hears you as clearly as He hears those of us who've walked with Him for decades.

Many young loved ones are praying for us, taking our names straight to the Creator of the universe! Cason prays, "Help Sweets get better." I beleive with all my heart God hears these sweet voices! Many of you tell us the children in your homes are praying for us. How amazing is that? God listens to these hearts, proves His faithfulness, & loves beyond measure!

Whatever decade you find yourself in, know He's listening. Know He cares. Know He's faithful. Know He's looking to show His mercy during the valleys in our lives. Know your conversations with Him are valuable and held close to His heart. Know you're tapping into the greatest power ever known! Know Him and keep praying!
